Gurus Lobster Roll Recipe

Is there anything better tasting than lobster? This easy recipe makes fabulous lobster rolls and will make your friends and family beg for more. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 – 1 1/2 Pound Lobsters
  • 2 Soft Italian Sub Rolls (or 4 split top hot dog rolls)
  • 1 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Medium Sized Lemon
  • Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika

Directions:

  1. Fill large pot or steamer pot with about 2 inches of water and add salt then bring to a boil.
  2. Add the lobster and cook until the shell turns red – about 9 minutes.
  3. Remove lobsters and rinse under cold water.
  4. Remove all of the meat and chop it. Set aside
  5. Melt 1 stick butter in a saucepan and add the juice of the lemon, paprika, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Stir in the lobster meat in the saucepan.
  7. Gut the sub rolls
  8. Spread half stick of butter on the inside of the gutted sub rolls then toast lightly using a frying pan.
  9. Fill sub rolls with meat.
  10. Optional – Garnish with lemon slice.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
