The Gurus Grilled Corn on the Cob

Nothing makes a Bbq better than corn on the cob, and your Guru’s recipe will make this side dish stand out to everyone in your crowd. 

Ingredients:

  • Ears of Corn for all of your guests (you may want a few extra)
  • Unsalted Butter
  • BBQ Rub (see below), Jersey Devil Seasoning or BBQ seasoning of your choice (Aster BBQ seasoning from Winn Dixie is my favorite)
  • Aluminum Foil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Remove husk (optional) and hair from corn
  2. Place sliced butter all over corn including putting 1/2 inch slices of butter under the corn on aluminum foil or in dehaired husk.
  3. Rub the corn with the Jersey Devil Seasoning
  4. Tightly wrap the corn with aluminum foil or husk and place on a high rack on your grill (indirect heat is best)
  5. Grill at 350-400 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

BBQ Rub

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme

Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight container.
