Hillsborough Digital Photographic Society to Exhibit at Bernardsville Library in September

Bernardsville Public Library is pleased to present an exhibition of photographs taken by members of the Hillsborough Digital Photographic Society. The show will be on view in the Library’s Community Room from September 4 to September 27. A public reception will be held Sunday, September 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The images will illustrate the diverse interests and styles of members of the Hillsborough Digital Photographic Society who concentrate on learning the art and science of digital photography in a supportive environment. The club’s goal is to provide a forum where photographers of all skill levels meet to share their experience, knowledge, and passion for photography. Bernardsville Farmer’s Market Saturdays

Every Saturday in the Summer and early fall. On Saturday, June 9, 2018 the Bernardsville Farmers’ Market opened for the season celebrating 24 years of providing a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and poultry products from New Jersey farmers: Silver Lake, Hensler and Griggstown Farms. Other fine products are offered by Valley Shepherd Creamery (award-winning cheeses), Baker’s Bounty (breads & baked goods), Pickelicious, and Krakus Deli. Working to keep the market current and even trendy, there will be pop-up events with new and diverse products from: Cooper’s Hollow Farm – native plants, Black River – spices & teas, Haines Farms – maple syrup, Best in Bouquets – cut flowers, Woods Edge local top-quality fashion-fiber-designs, and a diverse selection of heirloom garlic, nut butter, sweets, and more. We will feature a Peach Party and Apple Festival with tasty samples and ice cream at the height of the season. Our vendors are knowledgeable at answering questions on their produce as well as tips for diet, recipes and growing your own. Canine Fitness at My Dog’s Got Class

At My Dog’s Got Class the Canine Fitness class is designed to help you keep your dog busy and active, but most of all, it’s a lot of fun for both of you! Canine Fitness uses dog friendly FitPAWS equipment to mentally and physically challenge your dog and keep your dog engaged while increasing the difficulty of the exercises. These exercises are also a fun and entertaining way to build a strong working relationship with your dog. FitPAWS equipment will help increase range of motion, improve balance, improve reflexes, and leads to increased muscle tone and endurance. Your dog will be working with inflated exercise equipment so please ensure their nails are trimmed. Please speak with your veterinarian to ensure your dog is healthy enough to participate.
