“Do onto others, as you would have them do onto you”, is how Joseph Giannini, sales consultant, for K.Hovnanian Homes Four Seasons at Harbor Bay tries to live his life every day.
In business and life if you try to see it from the other person’s perspective, things seem to go a lot easier says Joe.
Joe was raised in Bergen County before moving to West Milford, New Jersey where he bought his first home in 1982 with his wife Patricia. Joe and Pat have three children, Andrea, Tricia and Joseph. With the three kids out of the house, Joe and Pat purchased a new home in Little Egg Harbor at Four Seasons Harbor Bay.
After graduating Cliffside Park High School Joe attended Edward Williams College. Joe served in the 104th Engineer Battalion in US Army/National Guard 1969 to 1975 and finished his duty with an honorable discharge.
Joe was employed by the Hasbro Corporation in an executive position for 14 years. Joe then worked the next 2 years for the Mattel Corporation in sales and marketing, shortly after Joe started his own sales and marketing company. While managing his own company for the next 13 years and competing with consumer goods made outside the United States, Joe decided he wanted to sell a product made only in the United States. What better than real estate, no one can manufacture real estate and import back to the USA.
Joe joined K.Hovnanian Homes in 2005 as a sales consultant at Four Seasons at Troy Hills. Over the next 11 years Joe had the experience of helping home buyers purchase their first home and helping move up buyers find their million dollar dream home.
“This is a very rewarding career… buying a new home is the single most important purchase people make and it can be a very stressful experience,” “My job is to see to it that everyone that comes through my door gets the best possible combination of information, experience and assistance that I have to offer!” “…I always think about how I would want to be treated if I were in their position. It’s pretty hard to go wrong with that approach”.
Joe spends his leisure time surf fishing at the Jersey shore, where he now resides, and playing golf at one of the many local courses. Joe is a member at Secaucus Hudson Masonic Lodge #72.
