Teriyaki Shrimp Over Fried Rice Recipe

Enjoy this fun and enjoyable Teriyaki Shrimp and fried rice recipe from your Official Town Guru!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pound large Shrimp
  • 3/4 Cup White Rice
  • 4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons low sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • Black Pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook rice per instructions on package. Cover and set aside.
  2. Heat half of the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan using medium heat.
  3. Season shrimp with black pepper.
  4. Add shrimp, teriyaki sauce, and lemon juice to skillet and cook until opaque.
  5. Remove from skillet, cover, and set aside.
  6. Heat remaining oil in a frying pan. Mix in rice, soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Heat until rice is browned on the bottom and begins to stick. Loosen and turn.
  7. Put rice on plates, top with shrimp and sauce.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
