Jersey Shore Cheesesteak Recipe

If you think a Philly cheesesteak is good, you have never had one in Atlantic City! This Jersey Shore Cheesesteak recipe is as authentic as they come and the best you will ever make. Grab yourself some genuine Atlantic City bread and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • Atlantic City Roll
  • Thinly sliced Beefsteak
  • Medium Onion
  • Blended Italian Oil
  • American or Provolone Cheese (3 (regular) – 5 (extra) slices per half)
  • Optional – Lettuce, Tomato, Hot Peppers

Directions:

  1. Chop Onion
  2. On a griddle or very large frying pan, add oil and turn on to high heat
  3. Divide onions into as many half subs you are making and add to griddle or frying pan
  4. Slice and gut Italian roll
  5. Oil the roll
  6. Once onions start to cook add sliced beefsteak on top of onions. 
  7. Cook until meat is completely cooked.
  8. Place cheese on top of meat and cook until cheese is melted
  9. Put cheesesteak on the roll and lightly oil
  10. Serve and enjoy!
