Celebrate New Port Richey’s Centennial with a historic sunset paddle from James E. Grey Preserve to Sims Park. Join us on Friday, August 16th, for a guided tour along the river, where you’ll learn about the local history of the parks and waterways. The evening will conclude with a free family movie in Sims Park.
The event is free and open to the public. Paddle departure is between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. from James E. Grey Preserve, and the trip will end at Sims Park. Please bring your own kayak or paddleboard to participate.
The D.A.R.T. will provide transportation back to James E. Grey Preserve for those who need to retrieve their vehicles. After the paddle, stay for Free Family Movie Night in Sims Park, featuring the film IF (PG).
