Savor Away at Taste Fest

AMPLIFY Clearwater has announced the return of its annual celebration of all things scrumptious when its Taste Fest returns hosted for a second consecutive year by Clearwater Marine Aquarium on Friday, September 9. This event that is open to the public runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and features over 20 restaurants from across the Clearwater area accompanied by a wide assortment of wines and craft beers. In addition to indulging in fine food and drink, guests will be treated to a full evening of live music and entertainment.

“Taste Fest is a fun and exciting night, full of delicious food, entertainment and engaging in what this community has to offer,” says Amanda Payne, President and CEO of AMPLIFY Clearwater.

Registration is currently open for the event. Tickets are $50 general admission and $75 premium admission. With general admission, guests will be able to sample food all evening, catch live entertainment, and enjoy access to Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s new facility. Beer, wine, soda, seltzer and bottled water will be made available for purchase. Premium admission includes 3 drink tickets.

AMPLIFY Clearwater serves as a leader in advancing and promoting local business and economic vitality of the North Pinellas community and is Clearwater area’s main resource for area businesses to provide support and offer tourists helpful information about the area. The organization partnered last year with Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a nonprofit working marine rescue center located at 249 Windward Passage, for hosting the event. The two are back working together again to provide a unique setting for this popular Clearwater event which promotes local business and the power of community in a fun, safe environment. Taste Fest has been certified an ocean-friendly event by Ocean Allies.

Participating restaurants at this year’s event include Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber Restaurant, Bobby’s Bistro, Crabby’s Bar & Grill and Crabby’s Dockside, Island Way Grill, Marina Cantina, Rumba Island Bar & Grill, Salty’s Island Bar & Grille, Salty Crab North Beach, Sandbar, Tate Island Grill, Rusty’s Bistro, Shor American Seafood Grill, Ocean Hai, Watercolour Grill House, Hooters, Sylvan Abbey, and Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q, among others. “AMPLIFY Clearwater is proud to be working with local restaurants to make this year’s Taste Fest one to remember,” Payne says.
