Dunedin Art in the Park

Art in the Park will be held on Sunday March 13 at Dunedin’s Pioneer Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This is a perfect way to support your local artist community. This show is filled with local artist.

Art in the Park is sponsored by the Creative Artist Guild (CAG). If you wish to exhibit your work at our venues or at CAG shows, you must become a member and have your work juried in. You may download and print a jurying application at our website – http://creative-artists-guild.com/. Complete the form and contact one of our Jury Chairpersons listed on the form to schedule an appointment.

The purpose of the Creative Artists’ Guild is to bring together artists to share experiences, expertise and provide for the exchange of artistic ideas and information. They work together to develop & promote the Dunedin artistic community as well as by arranging exhibits, shows, and other means to further the purpose of local artists. Since then, it has remained one of the area’s most active fine arts organizations. Membership is open to all those interested in the fine arts, attending meetings, and participating in the many other activities of the Guild. The membership represents a progressive group of artists and their supporters who share a mutual interest and encourage public awareness in the art field.  For more details click here.

Located in downtown Dunedin, close to City Hall, Pioneer Park is a local landmark and gathering place. It hosts a number of community events like concerts, Films in the Park, and the Dunedin Downtown Market. Dunedin was designated as Florida’s first Purple Heart City by the Military Order of the Purple Heart on August 3, 2006.
