Ingredients:
- Lasagna Noodles (I used Barilla oven ready)
- The Gurus Tomato Sauce
- 32 Ounces Ricotta Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 Pound Freshly Sliced Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt (Separated 1 Teaspoon for meat, 1/2 Teaspoon for Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Basil
- 1 Teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
- 1/4 Crushed Red Peppers
- Parley Flakes as Garnish
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
- Pull meat apart and mix with garlic in a frying pan and heat
- Mix in basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, fennel seeds, crushed red peppers, and just enough of the Gurus Tomato Sauce to lubricate the mixture. Cook until meat is browned.
- In a bowl, fully mix Ricotta, Eggs, and Kosher Salt
- Put a thin layer of sauce in a casserole dish, then put a lasagna noodle on top. If using a tray, cover the sauce with noodles
- Add a layer of ricotta cheese and then a layer of meat
- Add a second noodle and another layer of Ricotta cheese and then Mozzarella cheese
- Add a third noodle and cover noodle with sauce
- Top with Mozzarella Cheese and garnish with Parsley Flakes
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the cheese just begins to brown
- Allow to stand for 10-15 minutes then enjoy!
