Bernardsville Farmer’s Market Saturdays

On Saturday, June 9, 2018 the Bernardsville Farmers’ Market opened for the season celebrating 24 years of providing a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and poultry products from New Jersey farmers: Silver Lake, Hensler and Griggstown Farms. Other fine products are offered by Valley Shepherd Creamery (award-winning cheeses), Baker’s Bounty (breads & baked goods), Pickelicious, and Krakus Deli. Working to keep the market current and even trendy, there will be pop-up events with new and diverse products from: Cooper’s Hollow Farm – native plants, Black River – spices & teas, Haines Farms – maple syrup, Best in Bouquets – cut flowers, Woods Edge local top-quality fashion-fiber-designs, and a diverse selection of heirloom garlic, nut butter, sweets, and more. We will feature a Peach Party and Apple Festival with tasty samples and ice cream at the height of the season. Brite Nites 2018

The 7th Annual WFA’s Brite Nites event is back with over 1,000 lighted pumpkin, a new “Barn of Fear”, food trucks, hot cocoa, fruit bowls, treats, souvenirs, dancers and a dining pavilion. Meander down the “Pumpkin Path” and be mesmerized by the intricately carved pumpkins and displays. Try not to get frightened by the passing witches, ghouls and zombies while walking through the newly designed “Barn of Fear” with six very different ghoulish displays. Have a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the culinary delights of our local food trucks. Grab a t-shirt or souvenir to remember the night as we countdown to Halloween. FOSRAS Heart & Sole 5K Run/Walk

October 14 @ 9:30 am – 1:30 pm

Annual fundraiser at Duke Island Park, Old York Rd, Bridgewater, which pays health care costs for homeless animals at the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, Bridgewater. In 2017, the shelter placed over 1,000 animals in loving homes. The sanctioned 5K run has a shotgun start at 9:30 AM. Pre-registration fee is $30 and day of event registration fee is $35. The fun walk can be started anytime between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Pre-registration walk fee is $25 per human entry and $5 each accompanied dog. Day of event human entry fee increases to $30. Riverfest and Duck Races

Come celebrate Raritan Borough’s Riverfest and Duck Races on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 1 -5 at Canal Street Riverfront Park. Breast Cancer Awareness Month Event Featuring Samantha Harris

Tiempo Libre in Concerts
