Seeks Support Through Fundraisers
Maestro Sforzini and the St. Petersburg Opera Company are currently seeking donations to be able to continue its operation. In addition, they ask those who have unused tickets for the 2020-21 season to donate them back to the company or to save them to exchange for a future production. A link is available on the Maestro’s website for patrons to indicate their preference.
The St. Petersburg Opera Company also is involved with the fundraising sale of protective masks with their name or with opera graphics. The masks are available at MSCFudraising.com. The code SPOC provides a 5 percent reduction in the usual price of $17.89 for the stylish mask, and the St. Petersburg Opera Company will receive 25 percent of the proceeds from all the opera’s mask sales.
The Mirella Cimato Gallery at Opera Central has a new exhibit going up this weekend featuring the works of artists from Creative Clay. Maestro Sforzini has an available video showing the variety of pieces that will be on display for the next two months. Viewings are by appointment: mirella.cimato@gmail.com or call 727-543-9190.
