With a legendary career spanning more than four decades, KANSAS has firmly established itself as one of Americas iconic of classic rock bands. This “garage band” from Topeka released their debut album in 1974 after being discovered by Wally Gold, who worked for Don Kirshner, and have gone on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.

KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the 70s and 80s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. Carry On Wayward Son continues to be one of the top five most played songs on classic rock radio, and Dust In the Wind has been played on the radio more than three million times!

Tropicana Atlantic City will host a summer kick-off, Memorial Day Weekend celebration, where thousands of spectators will gather to enjoy live entertainment, giveaways, Multimedia Light and Sound shows, fireworks and more on Friday, May 26 from 8 to 10 p.m. A live DJ will begin the celebration, followed by performances by Boogie Nights and a public Zumba class by AtlantiCare LifeCenter, and remarks from Tropicana General Manager Steve Callender and Mayor Don Guardian. The party continues with a grand finale of fireworks produced by Grucci that will continue every Saturday all summer long.

M. Pascucci: Sculptures is a solo exhibition on view now through July 2. Michael Pascucci works in a figurative and abstract styles that emphasize visual metaphors relating to the human condition. He states that his sculptures are essentially romantic as they connect to core feelings and enhance an awareness of self. Inspired by wonder for the structure of forms in nature, he seeks to inspire feelings of universal connectedness with his work.

NJ Mega Meet: the Exhibition, running through May 31, is an exhibition curated by Mo Colon, who led the Mega Meet tour on May 12. On the tour, photographers joined together to learn about the rich cultural history of Ducktown and the Atlantic City Arts District, while uncovering some of the best places to further their craft. The exhibition highlights the work of photographers from all over New Jersey.

Tony Pace brings his amazing voice coupled with hilarious comedy skills back to Resorts International Superstar Theater. Trademarked as The Man with the Voice who just happens to be funny, this Superstar Entertainer is the Must See show in Atlantic City.

Artist Ellen Hanauer presents an emotional recollection of her own transformation, which has taken her from the abyss to a place where potential is limitless. With fiber as the chosen medium, it brings an unthreatening quality to this provocative and sometimes uncomfortable subject. Emerging from the darkness has helped Hanauer to see possibilities that can only be discovered through the path of deconstruction and reconstruction

After making an indelible mark on the world of hard rock, Aaron Lewis thrilled traditional country music fans in 2011 with his debut solo EP Town Line. Highlighted by the success of gold-selling single “Country Boy,” the seven-song EP reached #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

In 2012, Lewis released his first full-length album, The Road. The album’s ten songs unfold with a classic grit and an invigorating energy all directly from Lewis’s heart and soul. Lewis personally penned all of the songs on The Road but one. Through his performances, he is carrying on a tradition of storytelling through music.

Kevin James attended Cortland University where he played fullback on the football team while majoring in sports management. He realized after 3 years that this wasn’t the path for him. After returning home, he decided to go back home and to break up the monotony of the summer, he joined a community theater. During a play in which he had a comedic role, he so enjoyed the crowd reaction, that he joined his brother’s (comedian Gary Valentine’s) improv group. He began going to clubs with Gary and realized he, too, had the knack for comedy. He has performed standup up for about 11 years. It was on the comedy circuit that he met Ray Romano. While Ray was getting a big break with his own sitcom, Kevin was getting recognition on “Star Search” (1983). After appearing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (1992), his big break came at the 1996 “Just for Laughs” Montreal Comedy Festival. Afterward, he landed a recurring role on Ray’s sitcom, “Everybody Loves Raymond” (1996). He has since received his own sitcom “The King of Queens” (1998).

Lisa Lampanelli is an American stand-up comedian and insult comic. She is noted for her racy and controversial style of comedy. Much of her material is ethnic humor, ridiculing and badmouthing various types of minority groups, most notably racial minorities and homosexuals.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Kathleen Dunbar has Midwest values and ideals. Now living in fabulous Las Vegas she has developed into a sarcastic edgy woman with attitude and humor. Being a divorced mother has provided her with a quick wit and a realistic look at life. Her observation of the world around her is outrageous!

Being a comedian is merely the latest career for Jim, a man whose wacky intellectual and slighty twisted sense of humor has led him in many different directions. As a precocious child growing up in Western North Carolina, Jim showed a precocious gift of gab and theatrical flair. Jim is armed with stories about his insane relatives and various job mishaps. A headliner at clubs and corporate events across the country, this Southern boy with a Northern attitude is winner of the MAC (Manhattan Assn. Of Clubs & Cabarets), Award for Outstanding Comedian and the Backstage Magazine BISTRO Award for Outstanding Comedian.

Ritch Shydner is an American stand-up comedian, comic writer, and actor. Ritch Shydner was born in the small town of Pennsville, New Jersey. He studied business and sociology at Gettysburg College. At Gettysburg College he and sidekick, Camillo “Mad-Dog” Melchiorre, wrote, produced and starred in comedy skits for parents’ weekends and fraternity events. Carmen “Honest-Abe” Volpecelli and Pluto “Fenderhead” Dombrosky also contributed to their nearly-famous Used Car Salesman skit.

“The Age of Elegance, Acknowledge it, Embrace it, Act on it”, is the theme for the MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2017.  Harrahs Resort Hotel & Casino will host the annual event on Wednesday, May 31st, at 1:00 PM in the Concert Venue Theater.  The Pageant is the search for that gracious lady, who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all senior Americans.

Eight women who come from various parts of the Garden State, have entered the “Age of Elegance”, that is 60 years or better, will participate in this time honored pageant.  The winner then goes on to compete in the MS SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2017 in October, which will be held at Resorts also in Atlantic City.

Included in the show are performances by the GRANDE DAMES CHORUS, special guests, and a farewell performance by outgoing QUEEN, Diane Deluca. The MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2017 is rated general and is suitable for the entire family.
