3 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 medium diced white onion

1 Tablespoon minced Garlic

1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt
- 5 Peppercorns
- 2 Bayleaves cut in half
- 1/8 Teaspoon Saffron
- 1 Shallot Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Basil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Teaspoon Oregano
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 1 Cup Reisling

28 Ounce can crushed tomatoes

16 Ounce bottle clam juice

2 Tablespoons Butter
-
1/2 Pound Shrimp shelled and deveined
- 1/2 Pound Scallops
- 1/2 Pound Calamari

1 Pound Mussels
- 1 Pound Clams

1 Pound boneless Cod fillet or halibut

Parsley Flakes
-
Italian Rolls Sliced
Directions:
- Cut Cod or Halibut into 2-3 inch pieces
- In a sauce pot add the oil, onions, salt, garlic, shallot, and tomato paste and cook on medium heat until the onions are translucent.
- Add wine, butter, tomatoes, clam juice, peppercorns, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, bay leaves, saffron, and bring to high heat until it simmers.
- Add the seafood and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes or until the mussels and clams open.
- Serve in bowls and sprinkle with parsley. Use rolls for dipping.
