Tampa Bay Food & Wine Festival

Come celebrate the culinary talents of Tampa Bay’s chefs and cooking experts at the four-day Tampa Bay Food & Wine Festival. National producers of wine and spirits will also be on hand. The event benefits the Community Initiatives Foundation’s EAT SMART campaign, which supports youth health and wellness. Located in downtown Tampa, this culinary festival will feature four exciting ticketed events:

An Evening at The Tampa Club

The kickoff event happens Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. Enjoy an intimate evening under the stars with festival VIPs! A master of wines will entertain guests with elegant pairings, unique cocktails, and more in one of Tampa’s best-known members-only destinations. Organizers promise this event will sell out quickly, so plan ahead to enjoy the exclusive cocktail party at The Tampa Club.

Experience Hyde Park

Continue the celebration on Thursday, April 13, at one of the leading restaurants in Hyde Park Village. Your ticket entitles you to a private four-course dining experience at your choice of one of four restaurants, where the executive chef will join forces with a master of wines or a cocktail ambassador to provide a unique one-of-a-kind evening that will satisfy the discerning palate. Participating restaurants include:

• Meat Market Tampa, one of the best steakhouses in Florida. Chef Sean Brasel will partner with honorary chef host, Chef Fernando Desa, of Goya Foods. Only ten seats are available to the public.
• Timpano Hyde Park, known for its unique menu and fettucine made tableside. Forty seats are available.
• Forbici, offering a four-course Italian dinner for forty lucky guests—including Italian wines and beverages.
• Sur la Table, hosting a four-course cooking class for twenty people who want to learn from the chef! Create perfect cocktail and wine pairings with the help of a master mixologist.

VIP Chef Showdown

Party on into the weekend with your chance to serve as a judge in the Chef Showdown competition. Enjoy endless dishes and countless cocktails as you vote for your favorite culinary masters. The event takes place on the festival grounds at Curtis Hixon Waterfront from 7 to 11 p.m.

Grand Tasting

Get ready for the main event on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, featuring selected restaurant pop-ups, live music, and other entertainment. Sample your favorite dishes (or discover new ones), visit international wine and spirits pavilions, and celebrate the best of the best in Tampa Bay. All ages are welcome to this Saturday event, and admission for children under ten is free.
