Mardi Gras in Dunedin

Mardi Gras in Dunedin is one of the biggest events of the year. The family-friendly annual Dunedin “Big Mama’s Cajun Carnivale” Mardi Gras is set for Tuesday, February 18th from 2 to 11 p.m. at Douglas and Main Street (which will be closed off and available for foot traffic only to provide room for the celebration).  Enjoy Mardi Gras in grand style and celebrate with food, drink, music and a parade featuring over 50 unique colorful floats.

Who needs NOLA when you can attend Dunedin Mardi Gras Saturday, February 18 in Downtown Dunedin? Check out bands and solo performers across four main stages set up inside Pioneer Park, along Main Street and on Broadway. Catch a colorful parade that starts at 7 p.m. and if you’re lucky, a slew of beads, too!  Mardi Gras is a traditionally large street party and parade that is celebrated around the world to mark the last night for indulging on rich foods before Lent, and Dunedin’s Mardi Gras will be one of the best.

Complimentary live entertainment will take the stage at Pioneer Park starting at 5:30 p.m. For a complete list of entertainment click here

At 7:30 p.m., the parade will leave the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium on Douglas Avenue then head north to Skinner Boulevard. The parade will feature over 50 one-of-a-kind, colorful floats.
