Summer Opportunities at the Tampa Museum of Art

There are many iconic spots that make Tampa Bay an impressive place to visit in the summer, such as a day trip to Busch Gardens, or catching a game at Amalie Arena. However, one spot that you should also check out this summer is the Tampa Museum of Art.

The museum is currently pursuing a $100 million Centennial Capital Campaign for Renovation and Expansion. Within this campaign, the leading donation of $25 million dollars was made by Dick Corbett and his family. This specific donation will be put towards growing the overall space of the museum, expanding the square feet of the collection and exhibit rooms, and installing a 10,000 square-foot Education Center.

Education and serving the local community are two core values of the Tampa Museum of Art. With the opening of the new Vinik Family Education Center, there will be a variety of education opportunities for children, teens, families, and even adults, to enjoy this summer.
