Episode one of Quest For The Stanley Cup, the behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling the remaining teams in the 2022 Stanley Cup® Playoffs, premieres today exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. and on YouTube.com/NHL in Canada.
The first episode opens in Washington, D.C. with the Tampa Bay Lightning’s visit to the White House to celebrate their back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships before shifting to Game 3 of the Colorado Avalanche-St. Louis Blues series. Blues superfan Laila Anderson reminisces about her inspirational support during the team’s 2019 Stanley Cup championship run and her road to recovery from a rare autoimmune disease. Cameras take fans into the home lives of Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau and Lightning forward Ross Colton in South Florida before Games 3 and 4 of the Lightning-Panthers series.
Quest For The Stanley Cup follows teams through the Second Round, the Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup® Final. The weekly series is an entertaining companion to the Playoffs viewing experience, offering exclusive access to every thrilling moment of every series, on and off the ice.
