Curtis Hixon Park will serve as host for one of the Kiwanis Club’s most popular events, The Incredible Duck Race. Adopt a rubber duckie (or have your family or office adopt a whole team of ducks and come cheer them on as they race down the Hillsborough River Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Club of Tampa’s community efforts.
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa celebrates 100 years of serving as a champion of local children and seniors through its various community service efforts. From building ramps for the disabled and provided gifts to kids in need to hosting immunization events and encouraging leadership clubs through area schools, the organization has always been active in making Tampa Bay a better place to be for everybody.
