Muscles Marinara is a classic Italian dish. This recipe is easy but amazingly delicious and will make and dinner go from ordinary to spectacular! This recipe serves 2-4 people depending on whether it is a meal or a side dish.
Ingredients:
- 3 Pounds of live Muscles
- 1 Jar of the Captain’s Marinara Sauce
- 1 Pound Angel Hair Pasta
- Freshly Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
Directions:
- Rinse the muscles in a colander and remove the beard and any debris.
- Allow marinara to simmer covered until it is hot.
- Add muscles and cover for about 8 minutes until the muscles open using medium low heat.
- Cook pasta according to instructions on box.
- Place serving bowl(s) and garnish with grated cheese.
- Serve and enjoy!
