To Host Grand Opening…You’re Invited!

Downtown St. Petersburg’s thriving Grand Central District’s has a fabulous, new face on the block, (re)treat St. Pete, and they are hosting a special celebration. Join actress, stand up, and businesswoman Rhonda Shear – co-owner of (re)treat – as she and members of her team host the resale boutique’s official Grand Opening on Saturday, June 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 1940 Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete.

She and husband Van Fagan launched the sophisticated consignment shop earlier this spring and are excited to bring a different type of resale boutique experience to St. Petersburg shoppers. “I wanted to create a store that had everything — accessories, home goods, high-end handbags, shoes and other fashion items — a store where I would want to shop,” Rhonda says. She and her experienced team are excited to bring together this unique concept and engage with enthusiastic and often determined consignment shoppers on the hunt for that special something to add to their wardrobe or one-of-a-kind gift item. “It’s a chance to be at home in your own skin and treat yourself to lovely items,” she says.

The Grand Opening event is free to attend and will feature food, drinks, live music, and prizes. Guests will delight in scrumptious poke bowls from Pacific Counter while listening to the music of Midnight Lucy and sipping complimentary drinks as they stroll through the store, mingle with shoppers and team members, and browse a consignment oasis of high-end fashion apparel and accessories, home décor, and unique gift ideas.

“We love the Grand Central District,” says Rhonda, who notes the area has become one of the couple’s favorite places to shop, dine and catch up with friends. “We thought it would be so much fun to own a little something on Central and become part of this community we had already come to enjoy.”
