Spring Concert Series Kicks-Off with the Black Honkeys

The St. Pete Beach Parks & Recreation Department is rocking & rolling this spring with our NEW Spring Concert Series featuring: The Black Honkeys (Feb 26), Classic Rock Revival – A tribute to Doobie Brothers & Santana, New York Legends – A tribute to Billy Joel, Barry Manilow & Neil Diamond and The Spazmatics! This is a ticketed event, each ticket allows entry for up to 6 people per ticket, any group larger than 6 must purchase an additional ticket. Social Distancing between each group is required. Each Concert is from 7-9 p.m. with the park opening at 6 p.m. Food and drinks are permitted but please be responsible.  Enjoy the United States number one St. Pete Beach on February 26 to see the Black Honkeys.  Tampa Bay, Orlando and all Central Florida’s hottest local band, The Black Honkeys, is the greatest, most refreshing, sure to get you dancing, groovin’ bands around town.

Horan Park, St. Pete Beach is hosting another Spring Concert in the Park Event featuring that good time known as The Black Honkeys Band. Only $5 reserves a Pod of guests. Limited walk-up entries will be allowed up to capacity. Join us under the stars at Horan Park for what we be an evening of booty shaking. Let’s Take a Peek into the Black Honkey’s Band.  Here is more about their band members:

BROTHER PHIL Black Honkey’s Lead Vocals, a founding member since 2001 fronting the band nonstop since its inception.

WIL (THE THRILL) HARRIS Black Honkey’s Bass Guitar, also an original founding member since 2001, laying down the funky grooves.

STEVEN C. TANNER On Drums for the Black Honkeys, Steve has played and toured with the band since 2001, and still going strong.

GREG CZINKE Guitar & Black Honkey’s backup vocals, has played and toured with the band since 2005, tasty guitar licks.

NICOLE (MS. GROOVALICIOUS) SIMONE Another of Black Honkey’s Lead & backup vocals since 2011, as our newest addition to the show line up Nicole has become a special part of our show!

JOHN DASH DIXON Veteran Black Honkey player who has mastered the true R&B, Gospel and Funk sound. Joined the band in 2011.

TERRY CLARK Trumpet, a veteran player on the Tampa Bay scene for years, has toured with the Black Honkey’s for since 2009 and always ready to deliver the goods.

SCOTT MYERS Trombone, is another veteran from the Tampa scene, Chicago bred funk master that has played with the Black Honkey’s since 2009.

BILLY SUMMER Guitar Player, when the stage and budget are big enough, we are proud to have this critically acclaimed guitar player with us! Billy has been making appearances since 2006.
