The Captain’s Grilled Grouper

Ingredients:

  • 4 fillets of grouper
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmasan
  • 1/2 Lemon squeezed 
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme

Directions:

  1. Preheat Grill to 350 degrees
  2. Melt butter
  3. Combine all ingredients except grouper in iron skillet on grill
  4. Coat the grouper in the skillet and place the fillets scales side down
  5. Close grill and cook at 350 degrees basting the top of the fish with the butter/ oil/ seasoning mixture every 3 minutes until fish is fully cooked.
  6. Cook for 12 to 14 minutes until fish is fully cooked and looks opaque.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
