During the Open House, visitors will have an opportunity to see a special video tour of Glass Studio Borowski in Poland that the Borowski’s have created for this event. In the video they will talk about creating their extraordinary glass work. The Borowski family describes their art as “objects that reflect images of space, freedom, individuality and enjoyment.” (Lucky Bird Outdoor Sculpture-LEFT)

Their pieces range from whimsical outdoor art to exquisite showpieces. Each one, whether a lighted garden sculpture or an exquisite Artist Edition figurine is one-of-a-kind. The Artist Edition line includes artistically and technically challenging glass objects by Pawel and Stanislaw Jan Borowski. Each one is handmade and signed by the artist and is certified by Glassstudio Borowski. Their Studio line offers functional, handmade accessories. These colorful, contemporary objects fulfill highest quality standards of glass art. (King and Queen-RIGHT)

Garden enthusiasts and art lovers will also appreciate the new Borowski line in the Studio’s Garden Collection. The collection includes a 55” tall and 4 feet long chameleon made of glass and iron, along with a croc, turtle, crab and rooster. A total of 50 pieces are included in this glass menagerie. The imaginative sculptures in the Garden Collection, created from glass and metal, are weather resistant light fixtures, wind chimes and outdoor sculptures. The Home Accessories collection is where you will find the “ODD Bird” pieces.

Glassstudio Borowski was founded in 1990 by renowned glass artist Stanislaw Borowski, whose works have been internationally exhibited for 25 years in major glass museums. Three years later his sons, Stani Jan, Pawel and Wiktor Borowski too the helm of the glass studio. They added to Stanislaw’s own one-of-a-kind objects and began a collection of studio glass that has become extremely popular with art and glass collectors.

The Borowski Family is a multi-generational group of artists (as shown in featured image above of the Borowski Family) whose creativity cannot be contained. Each member of the family dedicates himself to honing his craft and perfecting the art of glassmaking with every piece they create. To see a light-hearted introduction to their works, the three Borowski brothers have put together a video to illustrate the zany ODD Bird collection that shows some of their colorful bold, fresh, creative and avant-garde designs. “The Odd Birds ‘The Second Hatch’” is available online at https://vimeo.com/470927672.
