‘Taste the Town’ Through September 7 

The week of August 24 through 25 will bring “Taste the Town” to a new level of excitement. It will be Week 3 of a month-long series of events designed to showcase the great restaurant operations that make up the beautiful communities of Clearwater and Clearwater Beach, sponsored by the Clearwater Gas System. 

The Taste of the Town event began on August 10 with Week 1’s “Drink outside the box!” followed by August 17 with Week 2’s “Appe-TEASE the taste buds!” Week 3 will call on the area’s top restauranteurs to “Show us the beef!” The final week, from August 31 through September 7 will conclude this year’s “Taste the Town” with “SEA-food, eat food!” 

The event had originally been set to be held in May, but it had to be rescheduled (didn’t everything?) thanks to the coronavirus shutdown. AMPLIFY Clearwater has organized the event, which includes an opportunity to dine at 24 of the area’s top restaurants. Weekly menu specials are listed on AMPLIFY Clearwater’s website and social media to help potential diners plan their dining strategy. Guests that dine at multiple locations will have an opportunity to participate in drawings and prizes.
