Single-Engine Plane Crash Kills One

Firefighters on the scene have confirmed one fatality after a single-engine Beechcraft crashed into the backyard of a Wesley Chapel home.

Pasco Fire Rescue received the call around 11:30 a.m., and arrived to find a fully enclosed plane down in the back yard near the intersection of Grand Oaks Blvd. and S.R. 54.

The crash appears to be contained to the corner of the one home, destroying a portion of the backyard fence and some grass and trees just beyond it.

FAA investigators are at the scene.
