Many people love to order seafood or shrimp scampi when they eat at a restaurant. What they don’t realize is how easy it is to make and enjoy at home. Enjoy this fantastic recipe compliments of your Official Town Guru.
Ingredients:
- 1 Box Angel Hair Pasta
- 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Pound Shrimp
- 1/2 Pound Scallops
- 1/2 Pound Calamari
- 1 10 ounce Can of Clams – Reserve Juice
- 6 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Peppers
- 1/4 Cup Riesling or other favorite white wine
- 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 2 Tablespoons Parsley
- 1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
Directions:
- Peel and Devein shrimp.
- Cook Angel Hair according to package instructions.
- Add butter and olive oil and cook garlic in large frying pan using medium heat.
- Add seafood and red pepper flakes and cook stirring occasionally.
- Add lemon juice, wine, clam juice, salt, and pepper and bring to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add parsley and lemon zest.
- Fully mix with pasta.
- Garnish with parmesan, serve, and enjoy!
