The Wildwood Food Truck Festival is back! This time, in the spring and in the fall, right at Wildwoods Fox Park. 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.. The festival will feature 20 food trucks of all different cuisines. As always, there will be no duplicate cuisines to keep the festival unique. This year, a newly added kids area will be present, featuring a bounce house, face painting, a balloon twister, and multiple games. Wildwoods Convention Center. The United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs will hold a regional gymnastics championship featuring competitions on the floor, balance beam, uneven bars and vault. The competitions will be choreographed to music and prizes will be awarded. Exhibition will be held noon – 9 p.m. on Friday; Competition is 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday; and 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday. The largest kite festival in North America featuring kite makers from around the world flying their most incredible colorful creations! Event is held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festival kicks off on Friday at 12 noon with the ‘Unlocking of the Ocean’ ceremony on the beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities follow with the opening of the kite sales tent and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday and Sunday include the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach, beginning at 9 a.m., as well as kite workshops and family games. Monday will feature the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. where kite fliers will showcase their impressive ability to fly a kite without wind!
