Want to make a memorable dinner for the special seafood lovers in your life? Captain Bill’s Seafood Pie will become a family favorite. This recipe is for 2 puff pastries which makes 2 very large servings.
Ingredients:
- Jersey Devil Clam Chowder (recommended) or the New England Clam Chowder of your choice
- If you use your own, add Jersey Devil Seasoning to it (Old Bay can be used as a substitute).
- 1/2 Pound of Bay Scallops
- 1/2 Pound of Medium or Large Shrimp
- Lump Crabmeat
- 1 Clove Garlic
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- In a frying pan add olive oil
- Cook garlic, scallops, and shrimp
- Drain excess oil
- Turn off burner and add lump crabmeat
- Add clam chowder to scallops, shrimp, and crabmeat. Use just enough to liquify.
- Remove Puff Pastry and unfold it in a caserole dish. I prefer using individual sized dishes.
- Fill the middle third of the pastry puff with the filling and cover with the other two thirds.
- Place in the oven for about 20 minutes until puff is golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy!
